When I tell people that I'm the landscaper who looks after our team's football field they are really impressed, and a little jealous. Identifying land boundaries and marking them

Thirdly, land surveyors ensure that construction sites attain proper land leveling prior to any construction work commencing. This is vital for all manner of civil projects. This process helps with important aspects such as water drainage as well as structural safety of buildings.
Through specialized equipment, land surveyors measure the land gradient to detect elevations and their respective angles. This helps contracts to grade sites efficiently before construction can be undertaken. In some cases, knowing the level of the terrain also helps contractors to understand the amount of work that has to be undertaken at a site. This helps them choose the right equipment for the job as well plan appropriate timelines for the work ahead.
In a way, land surveyors can be said to provide basis blueprints for the rest of the construction members. They provide basic data about a piece of land, enabling architects and engineers to have a starting point in any civil construction process.
